Our Pastor

  What a joy it is to introduce you to our new church website! I know that you  will quickly discover that our passion is to provide a place where all people  can experience God’s love and be welcomed into the fellowship of our church  family.

At Ava  Methodist Church, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We are a life-giving, Acts 2:42 church where we devote ourselves to sound Biblical teaching, fellowship, and prayer. I often use words like family and community to describe our church.

Above all, we are a church committed to following Jesus Christ. That means our worship is passionate, vibrant and filled with joy. That means we are intentional in teaching our children, youth, and adults the Word of God in small groups and Bible studies. That means as followers of Jesus Christ we love people outside our church through extravagant generosity, invitation, and compassion, and that means we are in constant prayer in our church and throughout our daily lives.

Our hope is that all people will feel loved and welcomed at Ava Methodist Church. And once here, we pray that people will meet God and as a result, follow him with passion and joy.
